Launch Week: Skoll Associate Fellows

Many times over the past couple years have I answered the questions: why an MBA, why Oxford?

Today’s launch of the Skoll Associate Fellows program indicates why I chose to come here. Recognizing that there was a large and and passionate social entrepreneurship community, far beyond just the Skoll Skollars, the Skoll Centre has kicked off this program. It’s a nice place to be, as it is new and evolving (and can be shaped by our input in this first year), but I really like two components: it will mix MBAs with students from the broader university during a second intake, and it continues for 6-12 months after the MBA finishes, linking studies to real world experience. There are some very promising program components in the works as well, that I shouldn’t divulge right now.

This is a good place to be. Take a look at my fellow Fellows, and you’ll see why.
