Shot of the Day: Oxford Examination Regulations

I received this book awhile ago: University of Oxford Examination Regulations 2009. Rivetting reading. But the gut reaction was this: what a waste of paper. Not because the information isn’t important, but because they are automatically given to each student and relevant faculty, examiner and various official. Must be over 15,000 books, each at 2″ thick and containing all subjects (when we each only need the information for one course - our own).

Thankfully, when I read the preface I learned that next year they’ll be shifting to a primarily online source. Good.
