In Italy? Want to buy reading glasses at 12:30 am? No problem. You’re in Italy, after all.
I love that they take the trouble to close at 8 and reopen at 10 pm.

Completely unrelated, perhaps, but this week there was a health-services “fair” in Toronto and one of the booths had medical specialists from India, I believe it was, offering “modern medical procedures at third world prices”, if you can believe it. That’s a quote from one of the surgeons, heard on the CBC. What’s next - Nike going into sweat shop surgeries? I’m sure there’s an opportunity here.

I’ve been thinking about something similar. Except instead of surgeries, it’s clothes.

They’re on to you: there’s a guy from Singapore, Mr. Aswami or something, who comes to Vancouver (and Calgary, Winnipeg etc) every 6 weeks or so, gets a hotel room, advertises and takes measurements, e-mails them to Singapore, and your suit is delivered about 2 weeks later. Cheaper than local tailors, that’s for sure.
