Shot of the Day: Wisdom

by Brendan on October 29, 2009

The first Cashewman Shot of the Day not taken by me: this beauty by either Ashley or Manpreet (a point of debate!). One thing is for sure: this shot trumps almost all of my Ethiopia photography. Everything about it is perfect: from the donkey’s pose, to the red background, to the framing, which leaves the scene as a bit of a stage. I wish I had taken it myself. Well done.

you’re right - a remarkable composition and subject matter. When I first saw it, I thought, why haven’t I seen this one before, Brendan must be so proud of it!

On behalf of both half photographers, thanks for the praise. I guess when you take enough photos, one is bound to turn out okay.
To Raff - I don’t have any photos published elsewhere online; and I’m fairly sure Ashley doesn’t either. Perhaps a new project once I build up a large enough portfolio of images I’m happy with.

Thanks for the love-fest!
