The State of Creativity in Canada - Your Thoughts

We’re going to try something different with Cashewman. Maybe a warm up for The First Drop.

I want to try a series on Creativity in Canada. But not just from me; I want to capture some different views this time. So think about this:

What is the state of creativity in Canada?

Can you write a decent piece for Cashewman on this? A few hundred words +/-, from whatever perspective you choose? Less if you can make a good, concise point. The pieces will go up during a week-long series, sometime in the near future.

Now I know a lot of insightful people are reading this blog these days: it shows in the comments and private responses I get. Let’s showcase that a little better.

So: What is the state of creativity in Canada? Creativity trends? How is it supported? How is it blocked? What are the consequences? From whatever perspective you choose. Academia, the legal system, governments of any level, community work, art, private industry, foreign policy; as a son, mom, daughter or father. Whatever your view is, let’s hear it.

Take your choice and fire me a quick email with a couple lines describing what you’d like to write. I’m looking forward to hearing from you. We’re all looking forward to hearing from you.
