Shot of the Day: Bruk

If I was starting an NGO here (which, I guess, I am) and Bruk was not already working for another organization (which, unfortunately, he is), he’s the first employee I’d hire in Ethiopia. He’s a driver/procurement officer with IDE, working with Practica people regularly. He’s extremely hardworking, insightful on many things Ethiopian and always smiling. Where can I get that wired piece of metal in Addis? Bruk will know. How to not get cheated renting a car? Bruk will know. How should I manage this hire? Bruk will know.

He’s a lifesaver, day in and day out. He has abilities far beyond his job description. And he’s unfailingly positive throughout. Now the trick is to find a Practica Bruk as well.
