Making love in the street

by Brendan on February 15, 2009

I was walking home, having a bit of a think, when I saw two teenagers writing the following in chalk, on the road right outside my house:

If two teenagers in Addis Ababa can do this for the hell of it, so can you.

So here’ s my Sunday morning challenge for you folks at home: get some chalk (or paint!), write ‘Love’ in the middle of the street, and either post (basic html works in comments) or send me (brendanbaker@ewb.ca - under 1mb please!) a photo. If you really feel like it, pass the challenge on to your friends.

Update: I got one back. And it’s a good one. My Sis and our good friend Nancy added a little Love in the snow. And in front of my childhood home to boot. C’mon people, show us a little Love! photos to brendanbaker@ewb.ca, but keep ‘em small, as I’m on dial-up!

And one last one (and this one’s good): Incaruins. I Liam’s words:

“Hey B, it may be a little late but we took a love photo at some inca ruins (don’t worry, the stones were taken from a nearby highway, and were removed after we were done…).”

Oh, and your mother was there, too, taking pictures.

They must have cut the old maple down. I wouldn’t have recognized the house in that picture if it hadn’t been pointed out. Those coniferous trees have grown in quite thick.

I tried to make love at Machu Picchu, but they don´t let you move rocks around, for good reason. We´re going to look for chalk like substance today though.

Love the ones in front of the old house. I also wouldn´t have recognized it from the photos.
